Perlis State Park is the first state park established in Peninsular Malaysia in 1997 and gazetted on July 3, 2008 to protect andconserve biological diversity found there. It is located in part ofMata Ayer Forest Reserve and Wang Mu Forest Reserve with an area of ​​4,379.81 hectares. Perlis State Park is located on the west side of Perlis which is located on a limestone mountain range, the longest in Malaysia (38 miles) known as the MountainsNakawan.
